YOU ARE NOT A UNIQUE SNOWFLAKE

As I develop into my own person, I seem to increasingly choose the path of the activist.  I want to leave something behind that makes the world a better place- I want to add to knowledge, to awareness, to tolerance, to equality, to peace and understanding in some way, whether by writing, teaching, giving, or something more hands-on.  This desire is much stronger than any desire to succeed financially or gain status.
